Cuezo is a music party game available as an Android app and a web player at cuezo.app. This policy explains what information Cuezo handles and how. The short version: no accounts, no ads, no tracking — just the minimum needed to run a game night with your friends.
We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. There are no user accounts and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Game data is stored with our database provider, Supabase, and is used solely to run the game between the players in your room. Game rooms are temporary by nature; data is retained only to operate the service and may be deleted as rooms expire.
Cuezo uses YouTube API Services to let players search for songs, and plays videos through the official YouTube embedded player. By using Cuezo you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google handles data as described in the Google Privacy Policy. Cuezo only sends your search terms to YouTube to show results and stores just the video ID and title of the song you select.
If you pick a Spotify track, Cuezo stores that link as your pick and opens songs in the Spotify app for playback. We fetch album artwork through Spotify's public embed service.
If — and only if — you choose to save a game night's songs as a Spotify playlist, Cuezo asks you to log in to Spotify and authorize playlist access. Cuezo uses that authorization solely to create the playlist in your account. We request only playlist-modify permissions, we do not read your listening history or profile, and the access token is held temporarily in memory and never stored on our servers. Your use of Spotify is governed by the Spotify End User Terms and the Spotify Privacy Policy.
Cuezo is a party game intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
